DaVE
DaVE is a visualization environment that allows our customers to perform post-processing, to display dynamic data online, and to create P&I flow diagrams. The software supports various data sources including files of different formats and online connections to simulations and measurements. Various instruments are provided for visualization that enable users to configure and customize their environment and results.
DaVE enables our customers to visualize complex thermodynamic systems and their processes in the areas of simulation and measurement in a comprehensible way. Examples of potential applications include:
Various instruments - such as 2D plots, thermal state diagrams and P&I flow diagrams - are available in the DaVE user interface, allowing our customers to create custom visualizations on a blank canvas. Many different file formats and online data sources can be imported and displayed.
With DaVE, large amounts of data can be efficiently processed and analyzed. This makes it possible for example, to compare simulations with different parameterizations. The visualizations generated with DaVE can be exported in common image formats as well as in vector graphics format.
DaVE supports the preparation of data and the creation of meaningful graphics in all phases of a development process:
The visualizations created can be expanded with data from simulations and measurements during the development process and adapted to the respective purpose. The configuration of the visualizations and the connected data sources can be saved so that it is also available for further applications or follow-up projects.
DaVE can be used to visualize calculation results and measurement data in the form of thermodynamic state diagrams. The following diagram types are available in DaVE for real gases and mixtures:
The state diagrams are based on our substance data library TILMedia. In addition to a large number of our own substance data implementations, TILMedia can also be used to integrate substance data from external databases such as REFPROP, for example to define user-specific real gas mixtures.
In the area of sorption, DaVE supports log p, -1/T diagrams. Various substances are available for this purpose:
DaVE supports the creation of P&I flow diagrams. Symbols (nodes) can be inserted to represent components. Predefined nodes can be taken from the included node library, which contains symbols from the TIL library and the EN 1861 and ISO 1219 standards. All nodes can be edited and adapted to your own requirements. Entire libraries can also be created and used within DaVE using the supplied Node Database Editor. Connection lines between the nodes represent the piping between the components and can be activated or deactivated depending on switching states. They can also change their width dynamically or be deactivated based on variables.
DaVE provides the user with various options for integrating data. In addition to the integration of various file formats, DaVE can also communicate directly with other programs and test benches and use them as a data source. It is possible to use several data sources of different types at the same time. The data sources compatible with DaVE include:
- CANape
- LabVIEW
- TISC
- And more
